Great little farm whether you’re a Downton Abbey fan or not. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful with information. The cafe is also very good and there’s a huge sitting area both indoor and outside where the kids can run around and play. Worth a visit if you’re passing by the area.
Taken to see Father Christmas by our grandson today.
Very well organised, we had a great story read to us and received an excellent good quality early Christmas present.
Followed up with drinks and a snack in the cafe. Great service, very friendly and good value for money.

We visited for the half term Halloween event this week, the Manor House transformed into the witches house was a great afternoon out for the kids. So well thought out and decorated, we were pleasantly surprised how good the rooms looked. The kids had fun and so did the adults. A lovely walk around the farm with Halloween activities and animals to see with interesting information on the history of the Manor House and farm.
Delightful cottage gardens - lots of small animals for children to see- cafe has hot and cold sandwiches and drinks . Can sit inside and outside . The house is interesting to walk round too! Great day out for all the family.
This was the Drew’s farm with pigs, then William’s dad took it, then Daisy and Andrew moved in. They’ve made it very educational for kids, video loops in every room about far more than Downton Abbey, several chicken coops, pigs, vegetable and flower gardens, cafe and more. Great for kids!
We found Cogges Farm when looking for somewhere to go before checking into our accommodation. What a find. Used in the filming of Downton Abbey. Great cafe and walks.
Lovely spot; cafe is quaint and a walk around the estate with the little ones was fab. Christmas events (or any seasonal events) are always well planned and enjoyed by many.
Annual membership bought; price is higher in person than stated on their website, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
Still well worth it! 😊
A brilliant place to visit. Lots of history and location for filming Ewe Tree Cottage for Downtown Abbey series. Such a friendly team running the place. Ducks chickens roaming around. Highly recommended
